A few days ago, between August 25 and September 1, 2026, the AI Chef Pro agents crossed the one-million-queries milestone since we opened the platform. This isn’t a marketing number: it’s one million times that someone — from a professional kitchen, a pastry shop, a bakery, or a desk — asked an agent something and got a useful answer back. A recipe, a food cost sheet, a menu, a spec sheet, a business plan, or a service question. One million moments where AI did the groundwork so the professional could focus on what truly matters.

I’ve spent 29 years in high-end hospitality and 15 in consulting, and I know firsthand how much time gets lost on tasks that are necessary but not creative: recalculating portions for an event, writing a dish description, making sure the menu and food cost actually line up. That’s the time we want to give back. The one million queries is proof that the idea works. And now it’s time to share what we’ve learned — and what’s new that came along with it.

What’s Behind One Million Queries

Every time a user asks an agent something and gets a response, that counts as one query. Simple enough — but behind that single interaction there are 80 specialized agents in English, available in seven languages — Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch — and a community that spans restaurant chefs, hospitality students, pastry chefs, bakers, ice cream makers, chocolatiers, hotel F&B directors, culinary consultants, and restaurant managers, all over the world.

The number we care about isn’t the million itself. It’s what it represents: hours of work given back to professionals who need them to cook, to create, to run their operations better. Every query is time that wasn’t spent staring at a blank page. And that, multiplied by one million, starts to mean something real.

What we’ve also learned is which agents the community reaches for most, which ones raise the most questions, and where we still need to sharpen things up. That’s the information driving every update we ship. If you want to understand how the advanced reasoning now built into every agent actually works, we break it down in detail in this article on integrations and advanced reasoning.

The Agents Our Community Uses Most

Here is a snapshot of the most-used agents during the milestone week, ranked by usage:

AgentWhat it’s used for
Avant-Garde CuisineGenerates professional-quality creative recipes, complete with background, precise ingredients, and step-by-step method
Creative PastryCreative pastry and restaurant-level dessert recipes
Chef Consultant ProFor consulting chefs working on projects for investors, groups, hotels, and franchises
Spanish CuisineProfessional Spanish cuisine recipe library
Bakery Consultant ProFor bakery consultants and advisors working with artisan bakeries and bakery cafés
Gastronomy Consultant ProFor restaurant consultants and advisors working on client projects
Staff MealPlans the daily staff meal menus for your team
Catering AI+Advisory tool for catering chefs and event entrepreneurs
Italian CuisineProfessional Italian cuisine recipe library
French CuisineProfessional French cuisine recipe library
Burgers Pro AI+Expert in gourmet, artisan, vegan, and fast-good burger concepts

There are two interesting takeaways from this ranking. The first: creativity and professional recipe-building dominate the top spots. Avant-Garde Cuisine and Creative Pastry lead the way, with Chef Consultant Pro, Bakery Consultant Pro, and Gastronomy Consultant Pro right behind them. This confirms something I saw throughout my years in consultancy: professionals are not just looking for inspiration — they want tools that help them deliver on real client projects.

The second takeaway is Staff Meal, sitting comfortably in the top half of the ranking, and honestly, that makes me happy. It is one of those agents that looks simple on the surface — you tell it how many people are eating, any dietary needs or restrictions, and what you have available — but it solves one of the most persistent daily headaches in any kitchen. Planning a proper staff meal when you are already deep in service prep is the kind of task that always gets left to the last minute. Seeing this agent among the most-used ones says a lot about what the community actually needs day to day.

Which AI Model Cooks Best? Seven to Compare

One of the biggest additions in recent weeks is the AI Models + LLM section of the platform. The idea is straightforward: seven state-of-the-art models, each running as an independent chat agent, so you can throw the same question at all of them and compare the answers. Two are brand new — Gemini 3.7 Flash and Grok 4.6, the most recent additions to the platform.

How to Get the Most Out of the Comparison

These seven are general-purpose models: their value lies in comparing styles, contrasting approaches, and seeing how each one tackles the same problem. They are not the specialized AI Chef Pro agents, which already come with professional context built in. Here is how to use them effectively:

  1. Ask a specific, professional question. For example: rebalancing an autumn menu with a target food cost of 30% (just an example). The more specific the question, the more useful the comparison.
  2. Run it through three different models and compare reasoning, depth, and gaps. Not all of them think the same way or prioritize the same things. You will see real differences in how they structure their answers and what they leave out.
  3. Use Sonar Deep Research when you need sourced research. It is the right model for analyzing market trends, studying competitors, or finding business opportunities backed by verifiable data.
  4. Use Grok when what matters is what is happening right now. Its real-time information access makes it especially useful for current context: commodity prices, emerging trends, industry news.

The key distinction is this: general models are for exploring and comparing. Working with your kitchen’s actual data — recipe costing, spec sheets, menus, business plans — is what the specialized AI Chef Pro agents are built for, with professional context loaded from the very first message. If you are unsure when it makes sense to use a general model versus a specialized agent, this comparison between ChatGPT and AI Chef Pro walks you through it with real-world examples.

Agents Fine-Tuned After the Model Migration

A few weeks ago, we migrated all AI Chef Pro agents to a new reasoning model. The practical difference is that agents now think before they respond: they analyze the context, identify what’s actually being asked, and build the answer with more judgment. Fewer generic responses, more responses that feel like they come from someone who genuinely knows their way around a kitchen.

After that migration, the team is going through the agents one by one to fine-tune them: adjusting instructions, improving how they interpret each type of query, and fixing what wasn’t working well with the previous model.

Fine-tuning an agent isn’t just tweaking a technical parameter. It means reviewing how it handles ambiguous questions, how it manages dietary restrictions, whether the quantities it suggests make professional sense, whether the tone is right for the user’s profile. It’s hands-on work, agent by agent.

The best part: you don’t need to activate anything. The next conversation you open with any of these agents will already run on the fine-tuned version. You can find the recommended prompts for each agent in the platform’s prompt library, and if you want to see all available integrations, they’re on the integrations page.

What’s Next

One million queries is a starting point, not a finish line. Every week we keep refining agents, adding models, and fixing what the community tells us isn’t working. And this is where I need your help directly: which agent do you use and feel could deliver more? What’s missing that doesn’t exist yet? The weekly updates come straight from those answers. Drop us a line at info@aichef.pro and we’ll factor it into the next round of improvements.

If you haven’t jumped into the platform yet, you can do it at enapp.aichef.pro. The Member plan starts at $10/month, no commitment, with 10,000 credits to get started with all 80 specialized agents in English — available across seven languages. Full pricing details at aichef.pro/en/pricing. No strings attached, no fine print.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a query in AI Chef Pro?

Every time you ask an agent for something and it returns a response: a recipe, a cost breakdown, a rebalanced menu, a technical sheet, a business plan, or a service question. The million is the total of all those requests since we launched the platform, across seven languages.

Where is the AI Models + LLM section and how do I compare two models?

In the agent menu on the platform, inside the «AI Models + LLM» folder. Each model is an independent chat agent: open two or three in separate tabs, paste the same prompt into each one, and compare criteria, depth, and errors. It is the fastest way to see which one fits your working style.

Do general models replace specialized agents?

No. The seven models are general-purpose engines, useful for cross-checking responses and open-ended tasks. AI Chef Pro's specialized agents come loaded with professional context (yields, waste, costs, regulations, technical sheet format) and store recipes and cost breakdowns with their structure for recalculation. For work involving your kitchen's own data, the specialized agent is still the shortest path.

Do I need to do anything to use the fine-tuned agents?

Nothing at all. The fine-tuning is applied within the agent itself: your next conversation will already run on the new version, with no settings to activate or plan changes required.

Are the seven models available in all languages?

The section exists in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese with the same selection; the OpenAI agent is called ChatGPT 5 or ChatGPT 5.5 depending on the language, and GPT-5.6 Luna en español. In Dutch, only ChatGPT 5 is available for now.

How do I request an improvement to an agent?

Write to us at info@aichef.pro or reply to the newsletter with the agent name and what you feel is missing. We read every reply, and the weekly updates come directly from that feedback.

Does AI Chef Pro have a free plan?

No. Entry starts at 10 € per month with the Member plan, which includes 10,000 credits and no lock-in period. With that plan you already have access to all 80 agentes and the models section.
